Still waiting for a commercial
developer to file a site plan for the East End Library.
February, 2008
The East End Library project has been
stalled. The plan was to lease space in a new commercial development on
Watson Rd. No developer has come forward to co-develop with the Library.
The funds are set aside in a reserved account and ready to respond to
the developers need. Hopefully the East End library will be built in
2009.
April, 2009
East End Library site plan will come to
site plan committee in late May.
Hopefully construction will begin
shortly after and opening for the 7,500 sq. ft. branch is scheduled for
Oct 15, 2009
